Review the Biomedic Privacy Policy to learn more about how we manage visitor and customer data.
Biomedic Privacy Policy Agreement. Last Updated May 4, 2026
Biomedic recognizes that most of our U.S. customers are "Covered Entities" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") privacy and security regulations. As such, they are legally required to safeguard all patient information they generate or receive.
While Biomedic is not itself a Covered Entity under HIPAA, we fully understand the importance of these regulations to our customers and partners. We are committed to handling every interaction with customers, healthcare providers, and their patients in a professional and responsible manner, and to protecting any information we receive in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Our commercial, clinical, and operational teams have completed HIPAA training, and all Biomedic employees are expected to follow both explicit and implicit customer instructions regarding any potential exposure to protected health information.
If you have any questions or concerns about this policy or how we handle your information, please contact us at privacy@biomedic.com.
Like most websites, Biomedic collects basic information about visitors in order to understand how our site is used — including how many people visit each month, which pages are most and least popular, and where visitors may encounter issues loading content. This information helps us improve the experience for healthcare providers, partners, and patients who rely on our site.
Biomedic has no interest in personally identifying individual users. Doing so would be both impractical and unnecessary. Our focus is on aggregate readership and traffic patterns, which help us measure performance, plan content, and ensure our infrastructure keeps pace with growing demand.
Each time a visitor accesses the site, our web server logs certain technical details where available, including the visitor’s IP address and/or internet service provider, the domain name and country of origin, the operating system in use, and the type of web browser. Biomedic also uses third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, which collect comparable information to support reporting, performance monitoring, and audience insights.
Third-party advertising and marketing platforms that Biomedic works with may also collect information through banner ads, sponsored content, and similar advertising technologies. We use these services to deliver content and product information that may be relevant to healthcare providers, partners, and other professional audiences who visit our site or related properties.
This information may include general location data made available from GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular signals — depending on the settings allowed by the user’s browser, device, or mobile operating system. For example, a visitor may see content highlighting nearby clinical events, conferences, or partner facilities if location services have been enabled and if the advertiser is targeting a particular geographic area.
When ads are served on or in connection with our site, third-party advertisers may place or read a unique "cookie" on your browser. For example, Google, acting as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads across the web, including on Biomedic. These cookies allow Google and similar providers to deliver ads based on prior visits to our site and other sites across the internet. You can learn more about how advertising cookies work by reviewing Google’s Advertising Policies & Principles.
For more information about advertising-related data collection and to learn how to opt out of certain forms of interest-based advertising, you can visit this external resource.
If you prefer that no record of your visit be retained — even though our policy is to collect only aggregate, non-identifying information — we suggest using an anonymous web browsing service. Such services typically mask all information about individual users, so that websites log visits from the anonymizing service rather than from the user’s own device.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding the personal information we collect about you. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), and visitors located in the European Economic
Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and equivalent laws.
These rights generally include the ability to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of that information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Biomedic does not sell personal information), and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@biomedic.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Biomedic may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or business operations. The "Last Updated" date above indicates when this policy was most recently revised. Continued use of our site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
